Favourite event: 1500m Freestyle, because it is what I know. If I could do any event it would be the 200m Freestyle.
Finest ever performance/Why: Olympics 2004 in Athens I won bronze in the 1500m Freestyle at my first Olympics.
First senior international meet: I competed in the Commonwealth Games in 2002 for Wales.
Role models: People who have been really successful such as Lance Armstrong and Haile Gebrselassie
My aspirations are: Getting the best out of myself, and having no regrets.
Tip for the top: Train hard and hold nothing back.
Life after swimming: Certainly not a 9-5 desk job. Maybe something like the Police
Music: I’m into British bands like The Kooks, Wombats and Razorlight. I also listen to dance music to ‘pump’ me up.
If I wasn’t a swimmer I would be a: Tennis player. I’d like to be on tour travelling the world. Also, I’m not sure if there has been a famous Welsh tennis player.
Football, Cricket or Rugby: Football. I love watching Cardiff City, and go as much as I can. Although being in the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff during the Welsh National Anthem for a rugby match is something special.
Describe yourself in three words: Laidback, Good Humour, Determined
