Tip for the top: Have fun and train hard

First GB selection year: 2004

Favourite sport other than swimming: Athletics, especially the running events

Three words that best describe you: Funny, silly and committed

Would most like to meet: Justin Timberlake

Biggest influence on career: My coach and family

Toughest opponent: Mel Marshall

Biggest passion away from swimming: Listening to music, shopping, going out with my friends.

Biggest disappointment: At the Nationals in 2004 I came second by 0.02secs in the 200m freestyle.

Favourite venue and why: Manchester Aquatics Centre because I always swim well there

Tips to relax: Watch T.V especially Eastenders!

Do you have any pet hates: Spiders.

What sort of music do you listen to: Pop

Education: I'm in Year 10. I'm studying P.E, History, French, and Food Technology as well as the core subjects you have to take.

Family: My mum and dad are called Teresa and John. My mum works in a bank and my dad works for a computer company. I've got a sister called Rebecca and she's in Sixth Form and she's 17.

Do you have a lifetime ambition: Swim for Great Britain at the Olympics and win a gold medal.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Still swimming. Hopefully I would have swum at the Commonwealth Games and Olympics by then too.
