GENERAL INFORMATION

Finest sporting moment: Competing at the Commonwealth Games and coming 6th in the World Cup

Tip for the top: Stay focused on what you want to achieve

First GB selection year: 1998

How did you get involved in diving: When I used to go for swimming lessons with the school, the school assistant noticed that I was more interested in diving off the sides than I was in swimming so she suggested it to my parents

Sporting heroes: Lance Armstrong and Kelly Holmes

Closest friends in sport: Stacie Powell, Blake Aldridge and Peter Waterfield

Favourite sport other than diving: I like watching athletics

Three words that best describe you: Competitive, good fun and stubborn

Would most like to meet: Lance Armstrong

Most prized possession: My Car

Biggest influence on career: Parents, coaches and other divers

Toughest opponents: Pete Waterfield and Leon Taylor - they're at the top of their field so they're the ones that you aim to beat

Biggest passion away from diving: Socialising

Biggest disappointment: Breaking my arm at the Junior World Championships in the Czech Republic

How do you prepare to compete: I prepare by forgetting about the competition and relaxing with my friends, then when I'm up I go and do the job!

Education: I'm looking at doing another degree in Business or Accounting and Finance.

Ultimate ambition: To compete at the Olympics and to win a medal

Where do you see yourself in 10 years: Still involved in the sport in some way
