GENERAL INFORMATION:

Favourite event: 200m IM, but it’s probably my worst as well!

Finest ever performance/Why: Winning gold at Athens in 200m IM. I was ranked third when I went in and came out with gold!

First senior international meet: Going to Sydney when I was only 15.

Role models: Everyone says him, but it’s got to be David Beckham.

My aspirations are: To win gold in 200m IM at Beijing and win a medal in another individual event, maybe 100m Free.

Tip for the top: Quitters never win and winners never quit.

Life after swimming: I was a travel agent for nine months before I became a swimmer, so something in the travel industry.

Music: All sorts, not classical or rock.

If I wasn’t a swimmer/diver I would be a: Travel Agent.

Describe yourself in three words: Loyal, friendly and bubbly.

Would most like to meet: Frank Lampard.

Most prized possession: My teddy. I had him when I was born from my Grandad and it goes everywhere with me.

Biggest influence on career: Parents and fiancé.

Sporting relations: My fiancé is a cyclist and also going to the Paralympics.
