Framework Overview

The Aquatics School Competition Framework comprises of three development stages

FUNdamentals. This is currently being developed as part of the Key Stage 1 Multi Skill programme with the support of the Youth Sport Trust.

Aqua Skills. This is a new competition format that includes the different aquatic disciplines – swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.  This is a fun style of competition that will provide opportunities for new swimmers at Key Stages 2 and 3 who are not currently involved in club competition.

Swimfit for Schools.  This is a British Swimming resource to provide advice and guidance for swimmers who want to track and develop their swimming progress online as part of a healthy lifestyle.  This is aimed at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.  Click here for more information.
