2008 Nominations

Following on from the success of the 2006 and 2007 Awards the Amateur Swimming Association is delighted to announce that nominations are now open for the 2008 Aquaforce Volunteer Awards.

This year we are pleased to be able to add one new category with the young volunteer award being for Under 18 year olds and a second category recognising 18 to 25 year olds who are volunteering.  There are five categories in total which include:

- Outstanding contribution to club
- Outstanding contribution to county or region
- Long Service Award
- Young Volunteer - under 18 years
- Outstanding contribution by a 18 to 25 year old

All nominations should be made to your ASA regional office by 1st July 2008.  After the regional winners are chosen they will automatically be nominated for the national awards.

To nominate someone it’s a simple process.  All you need to do is complete the nomination form (click here to download) and return it to your regional office by 1st July 2008.  Please circulate this to other people who may wish to make a nomination.

Please direct any questions to volunteering@swimming.org
