GENERAL INFORMATION

Favourite event: 400m Free.

Finest ever performance/Why: First ever trials for 400m Free as I outperformed my expectations and have never felt so good after a race.

First senior international meet: World Championships 2006.

Role models: Natalie du Toit

My aspirations are: To win a medal in Beijing and go to the 2012 Paralympics.

Tip for the top: Train hard and stay focussed.

Life after swimming: Go to university, not sure what to study.

Music: Bit of everything.

If I wasn’t a swimmer I would be a: Cyclist.

Describe yourself in three words: Friendly, approachable and shy.

Most prized possession: My first ever swimming trophy.   

Biggest influence on career: My parents as they pay for all my swimming fees!
