GENERAL INFORMATION

Favourite event: 400m Freestyle.

Finest ever performance/Why: When I broke my World record in the 400m Freestyle at the British Championships in April.

First senior international meet: The IPC World Championships in Durban 2006.

Role models: Nyree Lewis.

My aspirations are: To hold a World record and win a Paralympic gold medal.

Tip for the top: Never give up.

Life after swimming: I want to be a forensic scientist.

Music: I like RnB music.

If I wasn’t a swimmer I would be: I have always wanted to be a swimmer.

Describe yourself in three words: Nervous, Smiley and Friendly.

Would most like to meet: Ian Thorpe.

Most prized possession: My medal from my first disability camp in 2005. Nyree Lewis presented it to me and it was just amazing to meet her.

Biggest influence on career: Nyree Lewis and my family.
